Dinner at Kings Park

The same night, we had reception at King's Park. The view was beautiful... and we had raw oysters for starters! I had been craving for raw oysters ever since pre-pragnancy days, as raw food was considered unsafe for preggers, I didn't touch any of it until that day. I think I ate a record of more than 10 pieces! Yumzzzz...

Perth's sunset

Ku Cheong gave a great speech I must say and I caught Danny who was sitting next to me to be in tears! I won't say in tearsss, but tearing at least- a side of my cousin which I have never seen.
Danny to my surprise, was pretty good with Daniel! He carried him around to "entertain" him, but he was carrying him he was carrying a lamb about to be sacrificed. Nevertheless, I think Daniel likes his Unle Danny's Ausie accent. He was totally mesmerised when Danny speaks.
I may be flying to Perth again in Nov to attend his and Leona's wedding!

Rita & Clayton's Big Day - Wedding at The Sunken Garden

The next day, after a good night sleep from a full dinner, we arrived at UWA's Sunken Garden. The weather was beautiful! God's wedding present for my cousin, Rita! Bear in mind, the temperature was dead hot a few days before the big day but God sent rain to cool things down.

Sunken Garden is absolutely lovely... with greeneries and flowers all around.

Here's Daniel waiting for the bride to come...

Nothing is more beautiful than the bride herself! Her gown is absolutely lovely... drop dead elegant. Lucky Aussie!

Her bride's maids looked fantastic too. I am very happy that Rita is getting married. I can't wait to see her future juniors too! That would be fun for Daniel, to have some "mixed" cousins. Hehe!

Ladies in red... love the bouquets!

As the reception went on, Daddy took the opportunity to entertain Daniel, who loves walking!

Aunty Liyen & Uncle Rodney were in Perth too!

Uncle Rodney's parents...

Yes, observe his eyes... he was about to go to dreamland

Within seconds... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

As we went on to take pictures, Daniel had really konked off. So Daddy brought him to a tree nearby and I took some "artistic shots".

Love the trees in Down Under. They look so mightily tall.
